I am looking to start swimming in the sea or lakes but no idea where to start. Ideally somewhere not too far from belfast. Have you any recomendations?
Peter there’s a handy beach at Helens Bay…park in the carpark, there are also toilets for changing if needed…it’s a small walk down to the beach. Facebook Northern Ireland open water swimming as some folk organise swims there on a regular basis. Hope this helps
Also try the Northern Ireland outdoor swimming on Facebook…I think they use Helen’s Bay more frequently
Brilliant thank u
